Australia Vs Sri Lanka live score: Second final

Over 17.5: First six of the match!

Over 15.1: Out! Watson was run out.

Shane Watson (15) ran out of his luck as he was run out while attempting a quick single. David Warner pushed one towards leg and set off for a quick single. Maharoof quickly reached for the ball and threw it directly at the striker’s where Watson made a diving effort but was still caught short. Score: 56/2

Over 13.5: 50 up for Australia.

Dropped again! Shane Watson was given a second life as Rangana Herath failed to repeat his stunner at Brisbane. Herath had moved too forward from long-off, misjudging a lofted drive from Watson. He then started moving backwards, stretched his left hand akin to the one in Brisbane but this time the ball slipped out resulting in a couple.

Over 11.5: Dropped! Watson cut one hard at point where Dilshan couldn’t hold on to the ball. He was ped on 11.

Over 10: It was a quiet start from the Australian team. Possibly, the wicket of Matthew Wade early in their innings pushed them back a bit. Mahela Jayawardene’s decision to the bowling with a spinner seemed to work in favour of the visitors. Add to that a slow pitch where the ball isn't coming on to the bat.
Score: 39/1

Over 6: Maiden from Lasith Malinga.

Over 4.2: Out! Wade bowled by Dilshan.

Matthew Wade (14) failed to pick Dilshan as he tried pulling a quicker one that skid through him, disturbing his off stump. Score: 22/1

Over 0.5: First boundary of the day!

Over 1: Tillakaratne Dilshan ed bowling for Sri Lanka as Matthew Wade and David Warner took guard for Australia.

Australian captain won the toss and elected to bat first at Adelaide on Tuesday.
