Mumbai: Pranab Mukherjee and the Union Budget were hogging discussions on online forums and Twitter. Since the Indian film industry is one of the most prominent in the worldBollywood was not out of tune with the debate in the Parliament.

According to reports, some B-town celebs tweeted their views on the budget most of which were not in favour.

Kamaal R Khan wrote: "Pranab Daa has given Rs2000/ benefits to personal tax payers. Abb ye ahsan jantaa kaise utaregi. Sir we have to born 3 time to repay u.(sic)"

Pritish Nandy pointed at the out-of-tune attitude of the UPA government. He tweeted: "Nothing in the budget for me. Shutting down the TV. All big talk. Nothing that impacts our lives. The Budget shows that UPA2 has truly lost connect with the people. What an opportunity missed!(sic)"

In his inimi style Ranvir Shorey tweeted: "Ho-hum. So the Budget seems to be a reiteration of the Government's commitment to the people...in Parliamemt :p #fb (sic)"

Minissha Lamba seems to be love talking o the phone and therefore her concern was about the mobile bills. She wrote: "Mobile phones to be cheaper but phone bills to be more expensive! Howlarious! #Budget2012. The good news though, medicine for cancer and HIV treatment goes down. #Budget2012 (sic)"

Linking the budget to Sachin's 100th ton, anchor Gaurav Kapur tweeted:"Has Pranab da announced a hike in Sachin's centuries?(sic)"

Aamir Khan was the first to air concerns for the budget. He had reportedly said on Wednesday that the budget should focus more on education and health of the children.
