Internet sensation Poonam Pandey has partially done what she had committed last year- strip to nude! Though the lady has not gone full monty, she has posed topless for her fans.

The model had started a countdown on Twitter asking her fans if they would like to see “Poonam Padey Without Bikini” and on public demand posted a topless picture of hers’.

Sharing the picture with her fans, Poonam tweeted, “Finally on Public demand Sharing a pic #PoonamPandeyWithoutBikini Tweethearts!! Thanx for Loving me so Much .. S16E9: Shows like The Bachelor pride themselves on one simple thing: drama. And if love happens to be discovered along the way then so be it, but it is certainly not a top priority. Kacie B.'s shocking departure (tear) is proof of that all by itself. So it's not a huge surprise that Courtney has lasted as long as she has, given her ability to manipulate Ben in every way, shape, or form. She's what networks call "Reality Show Gold."

But now that we're getting down to the final episodes of the show, it's become evident that Courtney could very well win this thing entirely ( major concerns here). It's one thing to keep this girl around for entertainment purposes, but it's another to actually let her get the guy, yet that seems to be an ever-growing possibility. In fact, it's actually becoming a probability. And now that the overnight dates are up for grabs, there's no telling how far she'll go to get her man. Is anyone else seriously concerned about Ben's lack of judgment?

However, this time it is Ben who is under some pressure. Of course, we all know by now that these girls are completely enamored with Ben, so this really isn't much of a risk, but it still leaves him a little vulnerable to rejection.

The first date goes to Nicki and the two of them share a romantic picnic atop the Alps. It's clear that Nicki is completely infatuated with Ben and has no regrets about telling him that she loves him back at her parents' house last week. To say that Nicki wants to marry Ben is a complete understatement. Heck, she would have married him on that very mountain top if the show would let her. By the of the day, they both seem really happy with each other and feel like they're on top of the world (literally and figuratively). And come nightfall, Ben gives Nicki the option of staying in a fantasy suite with him, which she readily accepts. From that point forward there's a lot of kissing, hot-tubbing, and Nicki constantly telling Ben how much she thinks about him. She may want to dial it down a notch on the over-sharing portion, though. We all remember Blakeley's little scrapbook collection of Ben didn't really go over too well. He sent her packing that very same day.

The 62-year-old collected her third best actress Oscar on Sunday, for her portrayal of former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher in The Iron Lady. Although Meryl was thrilled to be honoured at the Academy Awards, she finds the growing obsession with Oscars gowns tiring.

“[I am] grateful my work is recognised but, boy, we’ve gotten bloated. So grand. The outfits so incredible,” she told New York Post. “Their desperation to make an impact really gets to me.”

Christopher Plummer was named best supporting actor for his performance in Beginners. The 82-year-old Canadian star played a man who is coming to terms with his homosexuality in the comedy-drama. Christopher is the oldest actor to ever win an Oscar and he is proud to represent a different type of star in Hollywood.

“We sometimes become distant voices, but old actors never fade away,” he told the publication.

Meanwhile, Jean Dujardin is still revelling in his Academy Award success.

The French star won the best actor award for his performance in silent movie The Artist. He is reluctant to be parted from the famous golden statue, calling the trophy “very handsome”.

The Artist was the big winner this year – taking home five awards including best director and best picture.

Stars of the movie were eager to att all the biggest Hollywood after-parties on Sunday, and apparently appeared on television on Monday morning after getting no sleep at all.

Strike evokes mixed response

The 24-hour countrywide strike called by major trade unions on Tuesday to protest the “anti-labour” policies of the government and rising prices evoked a mixed response with the banking and transport sector hit in some parts.

In West Bengal, there were fewer vehicles on the road but several schools and government offices remained following the warning given by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee that absence from duty will be treated as a break in service.

State Director General of Police Naparajit Mukherjee said in Kolkata that the situation was normal in the districts. Some arrests have been made in certain places including Hasnabad and Madhyamgram for obstructing traffic, he said.

In Mumbai, the strike had a partial impact with financial institutions getting affected.

Barring the banking and insurance sectors, which have a large presence of trade unions, normal life was largely unaffected in the metropolis with all essential services especially public transport functioning as usual.

“The shutdown in the banking and financial sectors has been complete. The RBI’s clearing houses are shut. So the private and foreign banks, where we do not a have a presence, also get affected,” general secretary of the All India Bank Employees Association, Vishwas Utagi claimed.

Services at both the city airports were smooth in spite of the strike call given by 11 trade unions.

In Delhi, the strike had little impact though normal functioning of PSU banks were affected and a number of autos and taxi drivers kept their vehicles off the roads to take part in the protest.

Commuters complained that the frequency of the state-run buses were low. Several passengers were stranded in the morning at railway stations and bus terminals.

For Steven Sinofsky, the stern but creative engineering manager who runs Microsoft Corp's flagship Windows division, February 29 is showtime.

On that day, in Barcelona, Sinofsky will preside over the public test release of the Windows 8 operating tem, the most important new version of Microsoft's cornerstone product in a decade. Optimized for touch computing and low-power microprocessors, Windows 8 will run on ts as well as desktops and laptops - and maybe even on phones in the future.

If it takes off, it could ext one of the most lucrative franchises in business hi and restore some cachet to the fading Microsoft brand.

It could also propel Sinofsky to the top job at the company when CEO Steve Ballmer eventually steps down.

Frank Artale, managing director at Seattle-based venture capital firm Ignition, which was founded by a group of former Microsoft utives, said Sinofsky has both "the tech chops" and the "panache and showmanship" needed for the job.

Supporters credit Sinofsky with bringing order to the sometimes-chaotic software development process at Microsoft - partly by cutting layers of management through what is now referred to internally as "Sinofskyization" - and getting products out the door.

Critics say he lacks the necessary isma for the top job, and question whether he has the technical brilliance of Gates or the incisive analytical ability and forceful personality of Ballmer .

Most agree, though, that a strong performance for Windows 8 would all but make him the heir apparent.

NEW DELHI: Sri Lankan batsmen Tillakaratne Dilshan and Kumar Sangakkara slammed centuries to fade India's hopes of winning the match with a bonus point and stay afloat in the tri-series.

Sangakkara was sent back to the pavilion by Praveen Kumar just after scoring the 13th ODI ton. Sanga's brisk ton came in just 84 deliveries that included seven fours and two sixes.

Sangakkara and Dilshan also stitched a record 200 runs second wicket stand at Bellerive Oval, bettering the previous best 145 between greats West Indian Desmond Haynes and Jeff Dujon in 1988.

Sri Lankan er Tillakaratne Dilshan played a steady knock to take Sri Lanka past 100 runs against the beleaguered Indians.

Dilshan reached to his 27th ODI half-century in 68 balls, smashing five boundaries in his second knock of more than fifty in the series.

Dilshan and Sangakkara were playing patiently after India struck in the 12th over to claim the first Sri Lankan wicket.

The Artist is a delight to watch: Amitabh Bachchan

Amitabh Bachchan, who is recuperating at home after abdominal surgeries, is enjoying a "no time- " life. Apart from doing other things, he watched Oscar nominated The Artist and said it was a "delight" to view the silent black and white French movie.

"Being by myself and almost in solitary confinement, is getting contagious. I am ning to rather like this state. No where to go, nothing obligatory to perform, random timings and the liberty to do what I desire. I eat whenever, sleep whenever, watch a movie whenever and happy doing so," Big B posted on his blog.

"The 'little one' comes up to meet me by the evening, wide eyed and now on the verge of recognizing things...On occasion she smiles and the volume of affection around increases a few decibels. Wonder if she feels why we must change the tone of our sound during our conversations with her, and whether it really helps to connect more effectively. Always a mystery." he wrote.

Amitabh Bachchan added: "I watched a lovely film 'The Artist' via the UFO set up in the house and it was a delight to see a black and white, silent movie in February of 2012!! In an age when color and music and speech and sound play such an important role in cinema today, it was most innovative on the part of the makers to present something like this. I believe it is up for the Oscars, which are out tomorrow on Sunday."

The 69-year-old was operated upon Feb 11 for abdominal issues, and was under observation at the SevenHills Hospital for 12 days. He was dis ged Feb 23 night. He says that he is feeling better.

"I think gradually the body gains strength. A few movements that were prohibitive earlier, seem to be easing in and I do hope this tr continues. Your prayers and wishes remain with me each moment and I do know that it is their sincerity that drives me towards a quick recovery. Thank you again for it!," Amitabh Bachchan wrote.

Salman Khan, who runs ity organisation Being Human for underprivileged people, feels that due to media coverage movie stars t to have an edge over others who sincerely work toward the betterment of society. And he is not too happy about it.

"We (celebrities) have an edge because we are there on every TV and every screen, good films, bad films, stuff like what we do in restaurants...So, we are there all over and we have an advantage over people who are really great people, and have not been given the coverage because of TRP ratings," the 46-year-old said here.

"It sucks because if you are doing that kind of (social) work, and nobody knows about you, it's weird," he added.

Salman Khan keeps doing his bit as a socially concerned citizen. He sells his paintings, and the proceeds are used for the welfare of the underprivileged.

Last seen in "Bodyguard," Salman Khan will soon be seen sharing screen space with ex-flame Katrina Kaif in "Ek Tha Tiger."

Bangalore: Former Karnataka chief minister BS Yeddyurappa turns 69 today and all eyes are on his birthday bash. There were reports that Mr Yeddyurappa may make an announcement today on his political future.

Mr Yeddyurappa had reportedly given an ultimatum to BJP president Nitin Gadkari, demanding that by February 27, he be reinstated as chief minister or given a senior post in the party. However, the BJP had told the former Karnataka chief minister that he will have to wait for acquittal from the court before he can be considered for chief ministership or a top post in the party, say sources.

Refusing to bow down to Mr Yeddyurappa's pressure, Mr Gadkari had ruled out any change in guard in Karnataka. Addressing a press conference, Mr Gadkari had said that Sadananda Gowda will continue as chief minister.

Mr Yeddyurappa was forced to resign more than six months ago after a Lokayukta report indicted him on illegal mining, and has in recent weeks been making vigorous behind-the-scenes efforts to regain the chief ministership. Mr Yeddyurappa was jailed in October last year after being arrested for two different cases that involved him using his office as Chief Minister to make prime property available to his children and their spouses at phenomenal bargains. He was released from Bangalore's Central Prison after 25 days after.

Mr Yeddyurappa is reportedly unhappy with the present Mr Gowda.

The former Karnataka chief minister had held a show of strength with more than 50 MLAs arriving at his home earlier this week.

Mr Yeddyurappa visited Siddaganga Mutt pontiff Shivakumar Swamy in Tumkur in the morning. After att ing a function orgainsed by Backward Class Forum near Railway Station, Yeddyurappa would head to his residence to hold a meeting with his supporters including legislators and MPs, sources close to him said.
