8.9 earthquake hits Indonesia, tremors felt in
India
JAKARTA, INDONESIA: A massive earthquakehas hit Indonesia.
Indonesia's geophysical agency has reported an earthquake of 8.9 on Richter scale off Aceh, and has issued tsunami warning to 28 countries.
Mild tremors were felt in eastern parts of India, including Guwahati, Chennai, Kolkata.
On twitter, people are talking of tremors in Mumbai and Ooty as well.
