According to Christianity; Jesus was being crucified on the Holy Friday and was being rose form the death on the Easter Sunday. But this becomes an ambiguity that what did Jesus do on the Holy Saturday? The religious scholars and the priests in churches have responded in this manner that Jesus was being crucified on the Easter Friday, on the Holy Saturday he came in the physical shape having a body of a common man to pay tribute to those people who were being crucified before him, the one who were his decent and followers. Another belief or perception is that on this very Holy Saturday the Jesus will open the gates of Heavens for his followers and people. The Christians honor Jesus to a huge extent because according to their belief it was Jesus who has laid his life for the survival of his followers. The very common belief is that after the resurrection of the Jesus all his followers are being pardoned because Jesus has paid the debt and the punishment for all the sins which are being committed by his decants and the followers. Christians observe
both Saturday and the Sunday as the days of resurrection of the Jesus, it was also known as the no fast day on which fasting was being forbidden.
But soon or later after the second century the Christians started to observe fast for 40 hours before the Easter Sunday which means that the entire Saturday is the fasting day for the Christians. No masses are being offered as they are being done on the Good Friday, the well-known Easter vigil masses are being for the Easter Sunday which are being observed on the Saturday night. In the evening and as the day is being prolonged people gather at their local churches where prayers are being offered and worship is being made for the harmony of the Jesus. The Holy Saturday 2012 sets the stage for a huge masses and celebration to follow on the very next day which is the Easter Sunday.
